About
We are developers and stewards of the Bainbridge Island Japanese American Exclusion Memorial, a permanent memorial that honors and preserves the legacy of the Japanese Americans of Bainbridge Island who were the first group to be forcibly excluded from the West Coast and relocated to concentration camps under President Franklin D. Roosevelt's EO 9066 and Exclusion Order No. 1 during World War II.
