Set amongst towering trees, tucked away in the heart of Winslow on Bainbridge Island, our school integrates a classical education with movement, the arts, and the wonder of nature, to meet each student's developmental needs. We are an independent and non-profit school, and are an associate member school of the Association of Waldorf Schools in North America (AWSNA).

Madrona School provides nature centered, Waldorf education for Preschool-Grade 6 as well as a Parent Child program for children as young as 1 year old. Our Preschool and Kindergarten are fully outdoor programs.
